What a cool spot to stay! I am very happy we... found it. It's about 30 minutes or so from Gatlinburg and about the same from Pigeon Forge. We explored a mountain stream kn the other side of the road too. Very quiet and peaceful. I'd stay here again.read more

We had an amazing time at Stay Minty! We stayed... in Riders on the Storm as a fam of 6. Kids/teens stayed in the loft and the master was super spacious. Bathroom was pretty good- the showerhead needs to be replaced with one that doesn’t shoot straight into the wall. It made it very difficult to shower but the water pressure was super high. Kitchen had everything we needed tho it only had 4 plates but we brought our own so it wasn’t an issue. The kitchen could use a little more lighting as the yurt gets darker in that area. The view of the lake was a little overgrown and we couldn’t access it without going around another yurt. Hot tub was good and the outdoor area was nice. Beds were super comfy and we had so many pillows! No need to pack your own! Plenty of blankets and seating in the family room!It poured for hours and hours during the nights we were there and we had very minimal leaking. I accessed the rain towels in the closet and put them near the door per a review I read and that did the trick. There was small spot in the center that also dropped a little but nothing extreme at all considering how hard it rained and for how long it did.Could use a few games. Didn’t get to use the projector because the wifi was super spotty so no way to get anything unless you have it downloaded.Definitely recommend 4WD. My husband had to help 2 other groups get out by pushing their minivans up the gravel hill. Entrance is super steep and everything else is gravel.10/10 would recommend friends to stay here! My teenage son who hates to camp said it was a vibe so it was definitely a win!read more

We absolutely loved our stay at GLAMP Smoky... Mountains by Stay Minty in Cosby, TN! This was one of the most unique glamping experiences we’ve had and such a fun way to experience the Great Smoky Mountains without giving up the comforts of home.The dome was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed — a comfortable king bed, private bathroom, full kitchen, AC, and even a projector for a cozy movie night. It truly felt more like a boutique stay in the middle of nature than traditional camping.The outdoor space was my favorite part! We loved relaxing in the private hot tub surrounded by the trees and sitting around our own fire pit making s’mores at night. 🌲🔥 The property is so peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we wanted after exploring the Smoky Mountains during the day.The location in Cosby is also perfect if you want to be close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg while staying somewhere away from the crowds.If you’re searching for glamping in the Smoky Mountains, a romantic getaway near Gatlinburg, or just a unique place to stay in Tennessee, I highly recommend GLAMP Smoky Mountains. Such a memorable experience and definitely somewhere we would stay again!read more

Overall our stay was okay. For the price it was... good. Very secluded, but decently located near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Things to note: outside deck and door to the dome need repair. When deck was wet it was very slippery and almost fell twice. Door was not fully sealed and after a rainstorm the entrance floor was soaked with water. If you want to disconnect…this is the place. Lastly, the customer service was great. They checked with us throughout the stay to make sure we had whatever we needed and very easy to connect with. Thank you Minty.read more

Long review to address previous concerns in one... place.We stayed at the Smokies domes in Cosby — Dome 4, The Interstellar. I read the reviews and was nervous, but here’s the real situation: it’s great!Tip from another reviewer that I agree with: while you still have signal on the main roads, screengrab your door code and WiFi info. It helped me text/email management when my door code didn’t match what I was given at check-in. Within 30 minutes it was resolved. This happens even at luxury resorts — it’s about how a company handles it, and they handled it well.I videoed the whole check-in and there were a couple of existing stains and a door that slides open on its own. I have dated, timestamped video in case any checkout charges come up, but I’m hopeful based on how great they’ve been. Stains happen with heavy turnover — THE PLACE IS VERY VERY VERY CLEAN.I was worried about the jacuzzi from other reviews — IT WAS CLEAN, water and seats included. Warm and peaceful.Bugs: almost none, just a tiny spider and an earwig near the tent seam. I’m terrified of bugs and it didn’t even make me flinch — INCREDIBLY CLEAN. Shower, toilet, fridge, kitchen — all clean.AC worked GREAT, plus a fan that worked great. Multiple heat sources too, though we didn’t need them in summer.I paid for the anniversary add-on — pricier than I’d normally do, but they did a lovely job: ice bucket, champagne, chocolate, glasses, fake rose petals in a heart on the bed, battery candles along a path, and real roses in a vase. Glad I did it once; wouldn’t repeat yearly.The dome rules were inconsistent across the site, portal, and check-in instructions, but matched the specific dome page on the website (AC, parking, etc.). The portal page is more informative than what you get at check-in — bookmark it.Staff were kind throughout booking, check-in, and helping us get in the doors. I’d come back in an instant. I’m a clean freak who hates germs — it was great. We’re not outdoorsy — it was great. We love comfortable temps — it was great.Come in open-minded and easygoing and you won’t be disappointed. Maybe other Stay Minty locations have issues, but these guys are aces. Well done!read more

My family and I stayed in the lodge for one week... and had a wonderful time. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 kitchens and a large back porch that overlooks the back yard and creek. It is in a peaceful location about 18 miles from Gatlinburg. Our grandkids loved it. I would love to stay here again sometime. Thank-you for everything.read more
